We also collect your email address when you create an account or make a purchase, so we can save your reports and send receipts.

How we use your data

Your answers are used solely to generate your relocation report and save it to your account. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

We may use anonymized, aggregate data to improve our recommendation engine — for example, understanding which neighborhood features are most important to users overall. This data cannot be traced back to you.

Cookies and analytics

We use basic cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language preference. We also use simple analytics to understand how people use the site (for example, which features are most helpful), but this does not track you across the web.

Payment processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. MoveWisely does not store your full credit card details on our servers. Stripe handles your payment information in accordance with their own security and privacy standards.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account data and reports for as long as your account is active, so you can come back and review your recommendations anytime. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to keep records (for example, payment receipts).

Security

We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Access to user data is limited to the founder and essential technical systems. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. If you want to exercise any of these rights, just email us. We are a small team and will do our best to respond within a reasonable timeframe.
